Introduction Email for first-time-bidders

Updated over a year ago

Before publishing a bid package, you have the option of sending a separate email to new bidders or bidders for whom invitations have so far remained unanswered, to introduce your company and the use of Cosuno for your tendering procedure.

Our experience shows that such an introductory e-mail greatly increases the willingness of subcontractors to submit an offer.

Sending the introduction email can be set directly when sending the invitation emails to submit a tender. Clicking on the Publish bid package button will open the publishing checklist first. Afterwards, the following screen will become visible:

Do you not have access to the functionality? Feel free to contact your customer success contact person at Cosuno to have it activated.

In addition to the settings for the actual bid invite email, you can also define the settings for the introduction email directly. The introduction email is sent shortly before the actual invitation to submit a bid is sent to the bidders.

Click on the Show preview and edit button to view and edit the standard template.

You can also specify to which subcontractors the introduction email is sent. Bidders who are automatically selected are those you are inviting for the first time or those who have barely responded to your previous tender requests.

In the bidder details under the history of each bidder, you have the opportunity to precisely track when which email was sent to the bidder.
